It is therefore clear that this year's rock happening for 2026 will come early next year, when two of Norway's best rock bands will come to town.
“Playing in my hometown has always been a highlight, especially now that Kulturfabrikken has become one of Norway's best rock scenes! When I also get to play with both my bands on the same evening, it can hardly get better. We can promise a rare rock happening, and we are looking forward to it to the fullest”, says Brynjar Takle Ohr!
Spidergawd are currently working on a new album, which will be released on September 10, 2025. The band has moved across genre boundaries within rock in the last 10 years, and has been praised by both
national and international press for their releases. In the wake of the new album, the band will embark on a long tour, and in the fall of 2025 and spring of 2026 they will play from Norway via Sweden and down to Europe.
At the concert in Kristiansund they will join forces with El Cuero, who probably needs no further introduction here at home. The band, which is known to be one of Norway's best live bands, will only be doing a few selected concerts in the future, and Kristiansund is fortunately one of them. With the fantastic concert the band did in their hometown in 2024 still fresh in their minds, this is set to be a sweaty and intense concert evening.
"We hope for a packed house and a great atmosphere. Now we will show our friends in Spidergawd what a fantastic city Kristiansund is to play in, and we promise to warm you all up if the January weather gets too cold," concludes Håvard Takle Ohr.
