Jule Rats
Julerotter is a short story about two rats living in Pedersgata.
They watch everyone rushing around the city. People fly past at full speed to get everything ready for Christmas. The rats themselves are not too concerned. They find most of the Christmas decorations at home in the attic, and the Christmas tree is already decorated. Only one thing is missing: where has the Christmas star gone?
Julerotter is a newly written, Ajax-inspired Christmas story. Ajax was the literary father of Johanna, Broremann, and Ongane in the street. He brought the Stavanger dialect into literature and made it an important part of the city's identity. With warm texts, social insight, and love for both the city and the language, he captured life's small but meaningful moments. Ajax was born in Stavanger in 1909 and grew up in Vinkelgata, between Pedersgata and Fiskepiren.

Our Relæxte concerts are hush-free zones with open doors for everyone who enjoys a more relaxed setting. There is only one rule: do not hush anyone except those you are with. The concerts are especially designed for children and adults with functional variations. All sounds, movements, and feelings are welcome. You can sing, dance, clap—or just listen and enjoy the music. Lights and sound are adapted, the doors to the concert hall remain open, and our hosts are ready to help if needed.
