Finally, a Christmas concert with Thomas Dybdahl at Stavanger Concert Hall!
‘As some of you may know, I have ended almost every year for the past 15 years with a Christmas concert at Vega in Copenhagen. It has kind of signalled that the concert year is over and it's time to relax and go home for Christmas,’ says Thomas. It is and has been a wonderful tradition that the Danes and I have shared, but in recent years I have felt a slight urge to end the year at home in Stavanger instead. To be able to come home and have the last concert of the year, then trudge home via Stokkaveien and hang up my stage clothes until next year, so to speak. So that's what we're doing this year! On 19 December, we're heading for Stavanger and the beautiful Fartein Valen Hall in the concert hall! My fantastic band will of course be joining me, and after playing so much this year, we'll be in the best shape ever. We can't wait to see you!
P.S. It will be a Christmas concert without necessarily being a Christmas concert, but that might not be such a bad thing after non-stop Christmas music since the beginning of November :)
