The critically acclaimed Vilnes delivers a powerhouse of a concert experience, featuring songs that blend indie pop, country soul and americana – all performed with top-tier musicality and expressive presence.
The Bergen-based band released their debut album Outsider in May (produced by Eirik Marinius Sandvik at Bergen Kjøtt). All three singles released ahead of the album were playlisted on national radio, and the track Outlaw was selected for Spotify’s playlist “en god dose country”.
Following a sold-out release concert, Vilnes has toured east and west this autumn, receiving strong praise at Øya Tuesday during Øya Festival. Now, the band is more than warmed up and ready to deliver on home turf.
Frontman and songwriter Eivind Vilnes has previously been described as an “indie pop genius” (Nordic Music Review) and an artist “of international calibre”, highlighted as a vocalist with an “impressive voice and excellent expressive ability” (BT).
He is joined by a stellar band that has earned acclaim for their live performances, including shows at Bergenfest, Klubbøya and Malakoff.
