Welcome to Bakst! A small and cosy craft bakery in the heart of Hjelledalen. Here, traditional craftsmanship and a genuine passion for baking are at the centre. Everything is baked in a stone oven, giving the bread, baked goods and pizzas a distinct and rich flavour. The bakery is open from 1 June to 31 August.

Every morning during the season, the bakery is filled with freshly baked bread and baked goods. From 9 a.m., you can buy fresh bread, buns and other tempting baked goods, perfect for breakfast, a packed lunch for your day’s adventure or a well-deserved coffee break.

In the evening, we serve stone oven pizzas and burgers. The menu includes familiar favourites as well as a few house variations, made with fresh ingredients and flavour combinations that work well together.

Bakst is a natural stop for both locals and visitors looking for good food in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The bakery is located in beautiful Hjelledalen, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and dramatic scenery. The area is a popular starting point for experiences in Nordfjord, and a convenient stop along the road between Stryn and Geiranger.
