The waffle cafe is established in the restored barn at the yard of Visnes Hotel. All the buildings here are protected.
The farm Visnes started welcoming guests in 1850, at that time there were guest rooms in the farmhouse. The barn in the yard has been there since, and when the hotel business increased, they still ran the farm and used the meat and milk from the farm for the kitchen at the hotel.
We use good Norwegian ingredients, including local ones. Check out the waffle menu and you'll probably want to taste it!
The season for the waffle cafe is from 10 July to 10 August.

At the waffle café we serve 10 different types of waffles, both traditional with jam and brown cheese, and lunch waffle with, for example, smoked salmon or ham.
