At Bud Camping, you can stay in one of the cabins or bring your own RV/camper van and rent a boat from the campsite. The campsite is open all year round with boats available on the sea throughout the year and offers various boats for rent, from 20-foot boats with a 50 hp motor to larger aluminum boats with 100 hp and fish finders/GPS. These boats are perfect for going fishing on your own, as they are stable on the water and easy to use.
Safety at sea is important, so life jackets are always included in the boat rental, and wetsuits are also available for rent for those who want them.
Tourist fishing business
The campsite is an officially approved tourist fishing business and can assist with documentation for customs if you wish to take fish out of Norway.

At the reception, there is also a wide range of sea fishing equipment available for purchase. From simple fishing rods and lures to more advanced gear for specific species fishing.
Activities for the whole family
The life of the sea fascinates people of all ages, and a sea fishing trip in Bud has something for everyone. Small children can look for crabs along the shore and collect beautiful shells, while teenagers can test their balance on SUP boards and dive from the rocks. The whole family can go fishing and take a break on Bjørnsund to explore the island’s unique characteristics.
