The main stage at Bømlo Culture Centre is fully equipped with modern technical facilities, making it an ideal venue for local clubs and organisations. Bømlo is known for its vibrant cultural scene, with a strong tradition in theatre production, brass bands, and an active music and arts school. Throughout the year, the stage hosts a wide range of performances—from small community productions to larger events.
Bømlo Culture Centre is also a regular tour stop for Riksteatret (The Norwegian National Touring Theatre) and Teater Vestland, as well as national artists touring across Norway.
The venue is widely used by organisations, businesses, and public institutions for meetings, presentations, courses, and conferences.
Library and facilities
Bømlo Public Library is located within the culture centre and is considered unique in a national context. Its open and inviting space, connected to the main foyer, welcomes visitors to explore, connect, and enjoy cultural experiences.
