This exebition is about the cultural history, marine biology and maritime archaeology.

The German coastal fort was built during the war years of 1940-45. Today it is restored as a war memorial museum. Exhibitions of local and regional events from World War II.

Ergan also has exceptional views over the fishing village of Bud and the waters of Hustadvika. During World War II large parts of the Norwegian coast was occupied, and Bud was one of these olcal communities under siege from 1940-1945.

Along the stretch Bud-Kristiansund there are several historical war memorials marked with information boards
