Apal Sideri is located in Sæbø, just above Hjelmelandsvågen. Dan Olav Sæbø, a trained carpenter, is the 13th generation farmer on the fruit farm. The farm has been in the family since the 1600s, and Gravenstein, Rød Aroma, Rubinstep, Discovery and Rød Elstar apples are grown here.

Apple juice has long been produced on the farm, but in 2020 they also started producing cider.
