Cross country skiing | Gloppen

Kleivane skisenter is a 15-minute drive from the centre of Sandane. The ski centre is situated 480 m.a.s.l. and is an excellent starting point for skiing trips.

There is a fee for using the car park. You may want to buy a season ticket for NOK 600 at the Circle K or at Sparebanken Sogn and Fjordane in Sandane.

Even though Haugsvarden is a ‘mere’ 862 m.a.s.l., it offers lovely views. You can see Sandane, Lote, Hennebygda, Hopland and Innvik, as well as the mountains Russdalshornet, Traudalsnibba, Morafta, Eikeneshesten, Hyeneshesten, the transmitter at Lote, Kyrkjefjellet, Sunndalsnipa, the Sunnmøre Alps, Skåla and Snønipa!
