Join daily diving trips at the Atlantic Road! The area offers excellent diving in crystal-clear waters, vast kelp forests, several wrecks, and more. Strømsholmen Marine Sports Center is located by the Atlantic Road – one of Norway’s most beautiful coastal routes – and has been a base for diving adventures since 1981. Here, a unique underwater area awaits, with over 100 dive sites nearby.
The area is suited for experienced divers with valid certification (PADI, CMAS, or equivalent). You can explore walls, underwater canyons, kelp forests, and shipwrecks. The well-known current dive under Vevang Bridge is a favorite, and at times you can dive near a seal colony.
The Gulf Stream contributes to clear water and rich marine life. Over 1,400 species have been recorded in the area, including corals, nudibranchs, jellyfish, crabs, and fish.
During the summer season, daily boat trips with one dive per trip are offered. Equipment rental is available (both wetsuits and drysuits), and the boats accommodate 18–30 divers. A minimum of four participants is required per trip, and all divers must be experienced – instructors do not participate in the dives themselves.

To protect the environment, spearfishing and collecting marine life at the regular dive sites are not allowed.
