Electric bike rental in Fjærland
In Fjærland you can cycle between the fjord and glacier on super cool electric bikes from Buddy Bikes.
In Fjærland, the roads are mostly fairly flat, but there is a slight incline in some tributary valleys. With electric bikes from Buddy Bikes, it's no problem to get around easily.
From the pick-up points at Fjærland Fjordstove Hotell or Norwegian Glacier Museum it is easy to cycle (see map below):
- Southwest along the fjord all the way to Jordal.
- Head north to Supphellebreen (via Skeide or Våteviki). To get to Supphellebreen, cross Road 5 near Norwegian Glacier Museum and cycle through Våteviki, or cross Road 5 at Skeide over the bridge towards Supphelledalen.
- You can also cycle up the side valleys Mundalsdalen from Mundal or Horpedalen from Våteviki.
IMPORTANT: AVOID Road 5 northwards in Bøyadalen! This road is heavily trafficked with an 80 km/h zone where cars and larger vehicles travel at high speeds.
