Ski Touring for Beginners from Voss with Outdoor Norway

Practical information

Season: January–April, subject to snow conditions.

Minimum age: 14 years.

Requirements: Confidence on skis and good physical health. No previous ski touring experience needed; this is not a learn-to-ski lesson.

Included: Professional guide and return transport from Voss to the skiing location.

Equipment: Bring touring skis, skins, boots, poles, helmet, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe and backpack. Equipment rental is available at extra cost.

Bring: Warm layers, weatherproof outerwear, gloves, hat, goggles, sunglasses, packed lunch, snacks and drinks.
