Guided tour
Knowledgeable guides know where the fish are biting depending on the season, weather, and other conditions. Bud Camping has two larger boats that can accommodate up to 11 guests per boat for a guided fishing trip or a boat tour to the nearby island of Bjørnsund and the stunning Ona. You can purchase tickets for the guided fishing trip on the camping's website. The guides are certified and trained to operate large boats and ensure the safety of passengers.
Fishing from land?
For those who are not used to boats and would prefer to fish from land, there are several places in Bud where you can give it a try. Just stop by the reception at the campsite, and they will be happy to assist you! The reception also has a wide selection of sea fishing gear for sale, from simple casting rods and lures to more advanced equipment for specific species fishing. Safety at sea is important, so life jackets are always included with boat rentals, and floating suits are also available for those who wish.
Boat trip for all
The life in the sea fascinates people of all ages, and a sea fishing trip in Bud has something for everyone. Small children can search for crabs on the shore and collect beautiful shells, teenagers can test their balance on SUP boards and dive off the rocks. The whole family can go on a fishing trip and take a break at Bjørnsund to explore the island’s unique character.
