Guided Tour
Join a 2-hour guided tour in the most dramatic landscape in Romsdalen between the Troll Peaks at 1800 meters above sea level and Romsdalshorn at 1550 meters above sea level.
Learn about the Vikings: what did they eat, what were their houses like, and what were their clothes and makeup like? We walk through the area with burial mounds that have remained untouched since the Viking Age.
Highlights of the excursion
Relax inside the troll forest. Here you'll find benches and tables and a fantastic tranquility. You'll see the mighty mountain peaks on each side of the forest. Here, you can stroll around on your own or get detailed information from the guide.

- Walk among the burial mounds in the area where the people who lived here worshipped the Norse gods for centuries. Learn about everyday life 1500 - 1000 years ago.
- You'll also hear about how trolls were an important part of the Viking world and how this belief has persisted to our time. If you're brave, you can learn to see trolls.
Upon request, you can taste Viking food with salted meat, homemade flatbread, sour cream, dried fish, and mead.
Practical Information
Wear comfortable clothes appropriate for the weather and good shoes (hiking shoes or sneakers). No sandals. The tour is suitable for those who can walk on trails and some terrain. There is an age limit of 13 years and a maximum number of participants is 16. Earplugs are provided to each participant. Not intended for reuse.
