The hike starts in Norheimsund and follows a moderate 4–5 km loop with 250–300 m elevation gain. We follow a marked trail through open mountain terrain and lush forest, passing old summer farms before reaching the ridge above Lake Krokavatnet. Suitable For:
People aged 6 years and above in reasonable physical condition. High age is not a hindrance. The hike is not suitable for pregnant women over 6 months, individuals with heart conditions, back, or knee injuries.
