Join one of our local guides on a hike to one of Hardanger’s hidden gems. This guided hike takes you to the top of Hellefjellet, a moderate round trip of 4-5 km with an elevation gain of 250-300 meters. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful fjord landscape above the regional center of Norheimsund.
We follow the trail all the way through open mountain terrain and lush forest. The hike steadily ascends past old summer farms and continues to an elevation above Krokavatnet. Between fjord and mountain, you can listen to local stories shared by our knowledgeable guides.

Meeting Point:
Arrive 15 minutes before departure in the lobby of Thon Hotel Sandven (Kaien 28, 5600 Norheimsund).
You can reach the starting point by private car, but for an additional fee, we can arrange transport from a bus stop.

Distance and Duration: 3-4 km and approximately 3 hours
Suitable For:
People aged 6 years and above in reasonable physical condition. High age is not a hindrance. The hike is not suitable for pregnant women over 6 months, individuals with heart conditions, back, or knee injuries.
Booking, Payment, and Terms:

Changes and cancellations are free of charge up to 3 days before departure. Cancellations within this deadline are fully refunded.
