From the south you'll see the mountains around Gjegnlandsbreen and Ålfotbreen. From the south Eest you'll have Vagsøy and Stadtlandet. There's also a good view towards the ocean and islands in Sande and Herøy municipality. As well as the fjords in the inner part of Sunnmøre. When the weather is good you can combine the hike with a bath in the sea by Sandvika.
You can start the hike from Åram church or by the turnpike in Sandvikdalen. Both places have signs. The easiest hike will be the one from Sandvikdalen.
