Lyse Chapel is occasionally open during the summer months. From the chapel, you can continue on the road for about 100 meters, and then take the marked and well-prepared trail over the Klattane mountain ridge to Lyse Gard/Hauane B&B. To turn this into a circular hike, you can easily follow the paved road in beautiful surroundings back to Lysefjorden Tourist Lodge (2km).

Kapellet - Hauane in Lysebotn
On the walk from Lyse Chapel to Hauane, you can explore some of the charming village of Lysebotn, located at the very end of the Lysefjord in Ryfylke.
