Have you ever dreamed of gliding silently across the ocean’s surface, feeling the wind brush against your face, and discovering the coastline from a completely new perspective? With Sjøbris Adventure, you can turn that dream into reality. Our courses provide you with the confidence, skills, and inspiration to explore fjords, islets, and open waters by kayak.

Sjøbris Adventure offers both a Basic Course and an Introductory Course in sea kayaking—both of which qualify for the Våttkort, the official certification from the Norwegian Paddle Federation.

Why Get a Våttkort?

The Våttkort is more than just proof of your skills—it is the key to safe and enriching paddling experiences. Many rental providers require a Våttkort to rent out kayaks, and through this course, you gain valuable knowledge about safety, rescue techniques, and efficient paddling habits.

Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience, this course will give you a solid foundation for future adventures on the water.

The Basic Course takes place over two days and provides a thorough introduction to sea kayaking. You will learn everything from fundamental paddling techniques to trip planning and safe execution. This course is ideal for those who want a strong understanding of kayaking and wish to take their skills to the next level. Some rental providers may require a basic course for kayak rentals.
