Kjetil Melkevik
Kjetil Melkevik is the driving force behind the stand-up scene in Stavanger. He is now celebrating his ninth year as a comedian with an impressive 700 performances in over 100 different cities and villages, including several performances outside Norway's borders. In 2020, he premiered his first solo show, "Phantom Pains," which he toured with to 10 different cities. Kjetil appeals to all audiences with impressive improvisational skills and a clear penchant for puns and dry humor.
Trine Lise Olsen
Trine Lise made her stand-up debut in 2010 and has since charmed audiences with her self-deprecating style. Her journey began in Tromsø, where she quickly gained recognition after impressing with her own piece "I'm Right" at HT. The show received six top ratings and glowing reviews, and was named the cultural event of the year in Klassekampen in 2015. That same year, Trine Lise was also nominated for a prestigious comedy award.
Her success continued with the show "I'm Right," available on nrk.no, followed by her second solo show, "The Little Voice," which also garnered several top ratings. Trine Lise has appeared on numerous popular programs, including 71 Degrees NORTH, Lindmo, Camp Culinary, 16 Weeks of Hell, Four Star Dinner, Glasses, and SOFA.
With boundless honesty, Trine Lise confronts the world both as a performer and as a human being. Her approach is challenging, surprising, and not without a touch of cheekiness, while radiating warmth that captivates the audience.
Therese Alvseike
Therese Alvseike, also known as "Mother Therese," stands out with a significant dose of self-irony and wild observations as she takes the audience on a journey through funny, but also taboo topics related to pregnancy and life with small children.
With a unique storytelling ability, Therese has delighted audiences and made them burst with laughter at her stand-up performances on stages across the country. Her ability to address humorous aspects of life's more challenging situations, especially around topics like pregnancy and life with small children, has made her a popular figure in the stand-up community.
Therese Alvseike has repeatedly been hailed as the "Queen of Southern Humor," and her unique approach to shedding light on both funny and delicate subjects makes her a memorable and beloved comedian among audiences.
Nils Wergeland Krog
The name suggests involvement in writing the constitution, but in reality, he is far from that historic event. As a content employee in the county municipality, he shows that life dreams can be achieved, as long as the expectations are set low enough... With a life filled with setbacks and failures, he has plenty of material for the stand-up stage. Don't laugh with him, but rather at him – because Nils takes pleasure in sharing both his misadventures and small failures in a humorous way.
Knut Sørskår
From Haugesund but living in Oslo. "Now he's really looking forward to coming home, and to lift stand-up in Haugalandet! #LoveHaugesund".
Normally, he takes the stage in Oslo and around Norway on various club stages from south to north. He tackles life and everyday situations in a unique and different way. It will be great to showcase this "at home" in Haugesund.
