Hike to Rimstigen - view of UNESCO Nærøyfjord
Drive approx. 5 kilometers along the fjord from Gudvangen and park at Bakka. The trail starts from the road between Bakka and Tufto at Nærøyfjord. The Rimstigen goes steeply up the mountainside and leads to the mountainsfarms that belong to the farms Bakka and Tufto. Extensive restoration work has been done by the locals and Sherpas from Nepal on the steepest parts with stone steps. The hike is challenging and very steep, it can be slippery at times. Enjoy the view on the way up and at the top be sure to take pictures. Go back down the same way.
