Why not combine the sauna with a refreshing dip in the Sandsfjord? Never swim alone! Bathing is at your own risk, and be aware of currents in the mouth of the fjord.
The fjord sauna must be booked in advance, and all bookings only apply to the number of people stated in the booking.
Max. number: 6 people.
Age limit: 18 years.
Price: 200 NOK for 90 min. per person.
We recommend that you bring 2 towels - one to sit on and one to dry yourself with. Towels and bathrobes can be rented at Ryfylke Fjordhotell.
There is no changing room in the sauna, but it is possible to change inside the hotel.
Only bring clothes and belongings that can be left in a sack or bag inside the hotel while you are in the sauna.

Rules for a good experience
- Only use fresh water on the heater! No salt water, alcohol or other liquids.
- Out of consideration for other guests, smoking or eating in the sauna is not permitted.
- Do you feel dizzy, lethargic or have heart palpitations? Leave the sauna immediately!
- Use the toilet inside the hotel.
- Wear a bathrobe (or similar) if you are going into the hotel.
- Bathing is at your own risk.
- Clean up after yourself and report any damage or faults.
