Cross-country skiing in Skorgedalen
Skorgedalen offers several kilometres of groomed cross-country ski tracks throughout the winter season. The local trail team prepares tracks in Ljøsådalen, Selseterdalen and across Strandafjellet, offering varied terrain for both short trips and longer tours.

The ski tour across Strandafjellet offers what may be the finest panoramic view over Åndalsnes and the majestic mountains of Romsdalen. Along the ridge, peaks rise in every direction before a long, enjoyable descent through Ljøsådalen back to Skorgedalen.
The tour starts at the ski centre in Skorgedalen, where you can buy a single ticket for the ski lift that takes you almost to the top of the mountain. From the top of the lift, groomed tracks lead across the plateau and down the far side towards Ingridsetra, before continuing through Ljøsådalen and back to the ski lift in Skorgedalen.
