Just outside Gurisenteret on Edøya lies a small, sheltered sandy beach with views over the sea and the Tustnafjella mountains. The beach sits tucked into the bay, and suits families with young children well, whether for swimming or playing in the sand. Gurisenteret is right by the ferry quay to Smøla, making the beach a good spot to stretch your legs just after coming ashore, or while you wait for the ferry back.

Gurisenteret is a regional culture and coastal pilgrimage centre, with an exhibition, a café, and activities such as treasure hunts, cultural walks and an escape room in the old Edøy Church. Every summer, in week 28, you can experience the outdoor play "Fru Guri av Edøy", written by local author Peggy Kruse and performed in Gurisenteret's amphitheatre.

Parking is available outside Gurisenteret.
