The hidden Fjord Kayak tour- day trip

A kayak adventure in one of the pristine hidden fjords. Take the Fjord cruise Hjørundfjord from Ålesund to Urke in the morning (and return in the evening). And enjoy a full day adventure.

We will meet at Urke Kaihus (small cafe). After a safety and basic technic instruction, you and the guide paddle from Urke Kaihus into the Norangsfjord or deeper into the Hjørundfjord depending on the weather for about 2-3 hours. Depending on the wind we might cross the fjord and visit a typical fjord side farm traditionally used for goat farming. This kayak tour is perfect to enjoy and discover the natural beauty of the very dramatic Norwegian fjords in a very tranquil way (Since tourist crowds are elsewhere). Depending on the weather we will see smaller or bigger waterfalls. At the end of the tour you will be back in Urke where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a traditional Norwegian waffle at the Urke Kaihus or go for a short hike before boarding the Fjordcruise back to Ålesund.

Besides a fun and knowledgeable guide, you might encounter other wildlife like eagles, otters, seals, porpoises.
