Experience the Fjord & Fjellruta by bus
Fjord og Fjellruta is a new summer bus route that makes it easier to travel between fjords, mountains, villages and experiences in the region of Vang, Årdal, Lærdal and Aurland – without depending on a car.
The route connects some of the most exciting areas between Jotunheimen and the Sognefjord. With Fjord og Fjellruta, you can travel more easily and sustainably to places such as Utladalen, the King’s Road across Filefjell, Lærdalsøyri, Aurlandsfjellet, Aurland, Flåm and Gudvangen.
The bus route is especially designed for visiting guests who want to head out on an activity after breakfast and return again in the afternoon. This makes it ideal for day trips, hikes, cycling trips, round trips and journeys between different accommodation providers in the region.
Fjord og Fjellruta can be combined with other bus connections from Oslo, Bergen and Sogndal, making it easier to plan a complete journey through the fjord and mountain landscape by public transport.
It is possible to bring a bike, dog and luggage on the bus, subject to available capacity.
Tickets should be booked in advance through Vy. Book your ticket here
