From Oslo to Bergen via Aurland and Hol
Oslo – Gol – Aurland – Flåm – Voss – Dale – Bergen

A wonderful drive through Hallingdal over the Holsfjellet mountains to Aurland and on to Bergen. Don't miss attractions such as the Stegastein viewpoint, Flåm Railway and the Mølstertunet farmstead in Voss. Drive through this fantastic landscape with views of fjords and mountains and a variety of activities en route, for example a fjord cruise in Flåm. Include an overnight stay or complete the trip in one day.
Oslo – Hol, 212 km, 3 h 5 min
Drive from Oslo via Hallingdal to Hol.
Hol – Aurland - Flåm, 120 km, 2 h 20 min
(Please note: the road between Aurland and Hol may be closed in winter)
Follow the Rv7 road through Hol and continue along the Rv50 down the lush Aurlandsdalen valley to Aurland. Take a detour to Stegastein viewpoint and enjoy the fantastic view of the Aurlandsfjord and Aurland. Continue on to Flåm.
One of the highlights along this route is a trip on the magnificent Flåm Railway or a fjord cruise in the UNESCO World Heritage landscape from Flåm along the Aurlandsfjord and up the narrow Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen. In Gudvangen, you can learn about the Vikings in the Viking village Njardarheimr before the boat returns to Flåm. There is also a shuttle bus between Flåm and Gudvangen.
Flåm - Bergen, 171 km, 2 h 50 min
From Flåm, drive on to Gudvangen, up the hairpin bends to Stalheim (closed in winter) and on to Voss. Now might be the perfect time for a break among the old buildings of the Mølstertunet farmstead, or you can stretch your legs and walk to the Bordalsgjelet ravine with its fantastic potholes, around 5 km from the centre of Voss (approx. 1.5 hours, round trip). From Voss, continue on to Bergen via Dale. If you have time, you can stop at Dale of Norway’s factory outlet and maybe even get a tour of the factory before continuing your drive along the Osterfjord to Bergen.
