About

A reminder of World War II along Rv44 at Brusand.

The cement blocks were cast to prevent allied forces from making landfall. The German forces were afraid for the allied forces and build the Atlantic wall along the coast from the border Spain/France to northern Norway. In Norway it was called Festung Norwegen.
