Borghildbu is located approximately 4 km from the centre of Sandane, where you will also find an electric vehicle charging station.

About the Cabin

Borghildbu is a cozy cabin without road access, providing you with an authentic nature experience. Luggage can be transported to the cabin on request to make your arrival as easy as possible.

The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a shower, toilet, a cooking plate, coffee maker, and kettle. The cabin features a bedroom with a family bed, consisting of a double bed with a single bed on top. There is also a small loft with a mattress, providing sleeping space for 4 people, but we recommend that 2 adults share the room for optimal comfort. Bed linen and towels are included.

Facilities and Activities

Borghildbu is Green Key certified, and guests are encouraged to make environmentally friendly choices during their stay.

By the fjord, you will find a sauna that you can book, perfect for a relaxing moment after an active day. Take a refreshing fjord bath, or rent a boat to explore the beautiful surroundings. We also offer free loan of stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) so you can enjoy the water in a fun way.
