At this hotel, you live in modern boathouses that have won awards for their architecture and have become a symbol of modern Stavanger.

At the waterfront in Stavanger

The hotel is located in Stavanger harbour, in an area with a long and exciting history characterised by Stavanger's central role in herring fishing. You can enjoy the view of the harbour area and Old Stavanger - Northern Europe's best-preserved wooden houses. In recent times, Stavanger has become Norway's energy capital, where you will find the Oil Museum, only a short walk from the hotel.

Coffee and evening meal included

Every day you can have a large and good breakfast at the hotel, which is of course included in the room rate. Coffee in the afternoon and an evening meal in the evening are also included when you stay here.

Clarion Collection Skagen Brygge makes it easier and safer for you as a guest and is therefore cashless.

Stavanger city

Around the corner from the hotel, you will find the city's cosy and car-free centre, with a varied selection of shops, restaurants offering local ingredients and culinary experiences, and cosy cafes. Fargegata is in the same neighbourhood with its charming cafes and bars with houses painted in vibrant colours. It is a short distance from mountains and fjords. The boat to the Lysefjord goes right outside the hotel and the Ryfast tunnel easily takes you by car from the city centre to get to Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen).

The history of the hotel

The hotel opened its doors in 1988 and has played a crucial role in modern Stavanger. Inspired by the old boathouses that characterise the area, the hotel has won awards for its charming architecture. With the Valberget watchtower in the background, the hotel is often used in the marketing of Stavanger.
