Hatlems Hytter are beautifully located at Risnes in Lifjorden, a side fjord of the majestic Sognefjord. Here you’ll find a wide selection of cabins and holiday homes in various sizes and standards, making them an excellent base for experiences on the fjord and in the mountains.
Whether you’re looking for a simple and traditional log cabin, a modern apartment, or something in between, Hatlems Hytter offers accommodation to suit different needs – ideal for families, groups of friends and couples.
Location and access
The cabins are divided between the mainland and Risnesøyna. Five cabins are located on the mainland, while three cabins are situated on Risnesøyna and are accessible by boat.
All guests have the option to rent boats ranging from 16 to 22 feet, suitable for both fishing and transport. The boats are equipped with either diesel engines or outboard motors.

BUA
A cosy loft apartment in a boathouse, featuring a living area with kitchenette, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Separate common room with a long table in maritime style. Balcony and parking by the building.
NAUSTET
Apartment on the second floor of a boathouse, located right by the shoreline. Includes a living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms, bathroom, hallway, and an entrance area with a large freezer. Sheltered and sunny terrace. Parking approx. 30 metres away.
NYE EKRENE
Cabin with beautiful sea views, living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms, a small bathroom and a spacious loft. Sunny terrace and parking by the cabin.
SILDA
Traditional log cabin idyllically located in Sildevika on Risnesøyna. The cabin features wood-burning stove, blue-painted log walls, and views of the sea and Lihesten. Living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom with shower. Electricity and water installed, outdoor toilet, and private quay with excellent fishing opportunities.
STABBURET
Historic log cabin from 1760, moved to Risnesøyna in 1970 and preserved in its original style. The cabin is idyllically located at the entrance to Lifjorden, where the Risnesstraumen current passes by. Living room, bedroom and small kitchen. Cold water only, wood heating and outdoor toilet. Well suited for guests seeking a simple, nature-based stay.
EKREHYTTA
Cabin on the mainland, right by the shoreline with a private quay. Living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms, bathroom and large loft. Sunny terrace with sea views and parking by the cabin.
BRISLING
Cabin on Risnesøyna with panoramic views towards Tollesundet and Lihesten. Living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms, small bathroom and large loft. Toilet and woodshed in a separate building. Shower and washing machine available on the mainland. Sheltered terrace.
