Opplev Runde offers apartments and rooms for accommodation, located wall-to-wall with the visitor center at Runde Environmental Centre.
The apartments are modern and include a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, one double room, one single room, and a double sofa bed in the living room.
You can choose whether to rent an entire apartment or one or more rooms. The apartments are equipped with a television and wireless internet. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price. The apartments are beautifully situated in the landscape and offer great views. In summer, you can study the birdlife from the living room window; in winter, you can be fascinated by the waves breaking against the skerries just below. An apartment here is an excellent base for excursions by sea and on land.
Things to see and do at Runde
The visitor center is located right by the harbor. From there, guided boat tours around the island depart daily during the summer season. A boat trip provides a unique and close-up experience of life on the bird cliffs. On Runde, there are also excellent opportunities for hiking. Well-marked trails run all over the island. For example, you can take a walk out to Runde Lighthouse, or observe the bird colonies from the mountain edge. After a long day of nature experiences, you can retreat to your own apartment.
