Get to the Sword in rock monument by bus from Stavanger
To visit the site of the famous Viking battle that united Norway into one kingdom under Harald Fairhair in 872, you can easily take a bus from Stavanger.
- Take bus 16 from Stavanger city centre and get off at the Madlastø bus stop. From Madlastø, it is approximately a 20-minute walk to Swords in Rock.
