This historical island, formerly a community based on trade, fishing, and maritime transport, is now a popular destination for accommodation, meetings, and events.

Comfortable rooms and local delicacies

Håholmen Havstuer offers 47 unique rooms, each with its own character. Blending rustic charm with modern comforts, you can relax and enjoy the island's peaceful atmosphere. Most rooms are spacious double rooms or larger suites with multiple bedrooms and living rooms. The historic rooms, authentic from the 1800s, have become popular in recent years. All rooms have a bathroom with a shower. No rooms have TV, allowing you to truly enjoy the tranquility. Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms.

Restaurant Ytterbrygga and Silver Bell Kro serve local delicacies, offering a genuine taste of coastal culture.

How to Get to Håholmen

To visit Håholmen, take a boat from Geitøya by the Atlantic Road. In the summer season, boats operate on a fixed schedule, while off-season transport is available by arrangement. This unique mode of travel adds an extra dimension to the experience of visiting the island. It's also possible to arrive with your own boat. The island provides boat moorings for overnight stays, including access to electricity, toilet, and shower.
