Right in the centre of Florø, at the water’s edge, you’ll find Hjørnevikbua Restaurant. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the historic Hjørnevikbua building, dating from 1870. Once used as a herring warehouse, it is today the oldest commercial building in Florø. Here, historic surroundings meet views of the coastal town and the sea.

A focus on Norwegian ingredients

The kitchen puts high-quality Norwegian ingredients at the heart of its cooking, with a strong emphasis on local and locally sourced produce. The menu follows the seasons and the availability of ingredients from local producers, hunters and fishermen. With Florø’s location right on the coast, fish and seafood naturally play a central role on the menu – giving you the chance to enjoy some of the best produce the sea and the region have to offer in a maritime setting.
