Utsira Lighthouse is arguably the most famous attraction on Utsira. Make sure to pay a visit when you're staying overnight or just taking a day trip to Utsira. During the summer, there is a lighthouse café in one of the lighthouse keeper's houses from the late 1950s.

The Utsira Lighthouse station was built in 1843 and 1844 and was put into operation on August 15, 1844, with two lighthouses emitting a fixed light, a twin lighthouse. In 1890, the western tower received a rotating lens made in Paris. The characteristic of Utsira Lighthouse then became 3 rapid flashes, followed by a one-minute pause. The eastern lighthouse was taken out of service, but its remains still stand. The western lighthouse with the old rotating lens is still in operation and is a magnificent sight in the evening and at night. The other 3 lighthouse keeper's houses are available for overnight rental.
