Smiå Bistro opened in 2009, with Trond as the general manager and his daughter Maria as chef. The restaurant serves a wide selection of excellent food and drinks from an à la carte menu with dishes including monkfish, salted and dried cod, fish soup and steak with pepper sauce. There’s also an excellent lunch menu if you fancy something a bit lighter. Vegetarian meals are available on request.
You can enjoy live music in the Piano Bar every Friday & Saturday. The warm and welcoming Smiå Bistro & Pianobar is perfect for a cosy get-together and a pleasant evening in the town of Skudeneshavn. The house was built in 1907 and has since 1916 been known as the house where 'Per i smiå (Per in the forge) lived. It was a social gathering place and remains so to this day.
