The house has 4 double rooms and a commonly shared bath downstairs. 2 of the rooms have twinbeds and 2 have beds of 140cm for those who are very good friends!  Guests may book one or several rooms in the shared guesthouse.

The well-equipped kitchen and common dining- and living area and a second bathroom lie on the 2nd floor of the house. There is also a small glassed veranda on this floor, perfect for that morning-coffee as the sun rises!

The house has been decorated in a Scandinavian-Retro style, with old and new nicely combined to create a special ambiance! The 70ties designersofa of the owners' grandparents has even found its place here together with other artifacts from that period!

Outside there are seating-areas with benches and tables for common use for meals and rest! The owners of Olsens Pensjonat follow the path of sustainable tourism and advise their guests to spend at least 2 nights whilst at Veiholmen.

The place deserves this, in that a longer stay lends visitors the opportunity of really getting the place under the skin, by taking part in activities such as a guided tour around the village, kayak between thousands of islands and islets, enjoy a sea-eagle safari or a visit to abandoned fishing-villages, row or sail a traditional viking-boat or visit the coastal culture-centre to admire maritime artifacts and learn about life out here on the oceanfront!

One can also choose to exercise the art of doing nothing at all!

The weather changes fast out here on the Atlantic edge and the variations in light-conditions give plenty of photo-opportunities of beautiful sunsets, stormy seas and even Northern Light in season!

Smøla lies between Trondheim and Kristiansund and is reachable by ferry, fastboats, bike, by car or bus!
