Vetti Gard Tourist Station – Årdal
Deep in Utladalen, at the gateway to Jotunheimen National Park, lies Vetti Gard Tourist Station – a truly special place for those who want to get close to nature.
The farm has welcomed mountain travelers since the 19th century and has long been a natural stop for pioneers, adventurers, and visitors heading into Jotunheimen. Among those who found their way here was Edvard Grieg, who said he felt ten years younger every time he visited.
Today, Vetti Gard is a place for peace, closeness to nature, and authentic experiences – far from noise and busy crowds.
