Welcome to a unique experience and close contact with the animals.
Alpaca walking involves a guided tour with an alpaca on a lead. The walk on Åmøy takes place in cultural pastures and woodland, with stunning views of Mastrafjorden and towards Rennesøy. A calm, adrenaline-free experience. No special fitness is required, but normal mobility is recommended as the terrain may vary.
The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes, with opportunities along the way for unforgettable selfies.
Practical information
- Meet at the farm shop 20 minutes before the walk begins.
- Allow around 2 hours in total for the experience.
- Minimum age to be responsible for an alpaca is 12 years.
- A companion participant must be at least 6 years old.
- Clothing & footwear: Dress according to the weather. Wear hiking clothes and boots, as the walk takes place on trails through woodland and terrain.
