Espen Skjerven has released a new book, but for the first time, it is not a crime novel.«Ingenting å skjule» (Nothing to Hide) is a work of fiction about the teacher Oscar, who is tasked with speaking to a student at school who is wearing a wig. This stirs strong emotions, as he himself lost his hair as a child. The author experienced hair loss at the same age, and although the story is fictional, it is inspired by his own experiences.
Espen Skjerven will visit the library for a conversation with librarian Kristine Helgesen. It will be a personal and honest discussion addressing important themes such as identity and feeling different
