The recordings, made in collaboration with TrondheimSolistene, sold an impressive 250,000 copies and placed the album among the best-selling Norwegian releases of all time.
Throughout her career, Herborg Kråkevik has shown rare versatility as a singer, actress, and lyricist, securing her position as one of Norway’s leading cultural voices. In 2026, she is once again in the spotlight – both through her appearance in the popular TV series Hver gang vi møtes on TV2 in January, and with a new album and book in March.
The new album is a collection of well-known Norwegian songs, while the book – created in collaboration with the National Museum – combines songs and paintings under the title Vi vandrar saman ("We Wander Together").
After three sold-out anniversary concerts in 2025, Kråkevik and TrondheimSolistene are now embarking on a grand tour in the spring of 2026. The ensemble is in the process of renewing the repertoire from the Songbook, and audiences can look forward to both timeless classics and brand-new songs from the upcoming album. Beloved Norwegian songs will be presented in a fresh new way – performed by world-class musicians.
