Ending a legendary career
In September 2026, Jonas Fjeld will play his biggest concert ever in his hometown of Drammen. Before that, he will take ‘Jonas Fjeld sets down his bag’ on an extensive tour of Norway.
Five decades of musical diversity
Throughout his career, Fjeld has moved from rock and funk to country, ballads, American folk music and bluegrass. He has collaborated with Norwegian greats such as Lillebjørn Nilsen, Hilde Heltberg and Øystein Sunde, as well as international names such as Rick Danko, Eric Andersen and Judy Collins.
A celebration, not a farewell
The tour marks the end of a long life in the service of music, but also a celebration of the bond between artist and audience. Each concert will be a musical celebration – with laughter and perhaps a tear or two.
