Lady Arbuthnott 2026

The musical about Lady Arbuthnott – the wife of Elverhøy saw the light of day in 1996 and has since played every year in Hovshall at Sunndal Kulturhus with the exception of the pandemic years. The dramatic story from Sunndal is dramatized by Stig Nilsson, who has a libretto for the music composed by Lars Ramsøy-Halle. A story that captivates year after year.

In 2026 we are back again. The last few years have been fantastic, with sold-out houses, dice rolls of 6 in Klassekampen, Adresseavisen, Romsdals Budstikke, Tidens Krav, Aura Avis and Driva.

We are looking forward to opening our doors to the public on June 17th – 27th, to prove that the newspapers and the audience's enthusiasm is justified. There is a reason why we are Norway's longest-running musical play – in 2026 we celebrate, as you may have noticed, 30 years!
