With roots in the north and a life in the south, they present both the city girl and the archetypal northerner who live within Maria. Drawing inspiration from singer-songwriters such as Terje Nilsen, Trygve Hoff and Lars Bremnes, Maria shares her own stories. Maria Haukaas Mittet is known for her victory in Stjernekamp in 2015, her powerful Christmas concerts, and her strong connection with audiences – and she is now ready to convey everything from brand new music to well-known songs from earlier releases.

Spring 2026 marks Maria Haukaas Mittet’s return with new music, ready to fill concert venues across Norway with warmth, humour and depth. The music is created in collaboration with the Tromsø brothers Espen Lind and Geir Hvidtsten, who, like Maria, spent the first part of their lives in the north before heading south.
