Hendrik Fretwurst (b. 1975) is an interdisciplinary artist born in Germany and based in Tananger. With a background in tattoo art, custom paintwork, and project-based art, he has developed an expression where precision meets raw creative energy.
He works mainly with acrylic painting, often inspired by the sea and the maritime environment. His works explore power, movement, and materiality, reflecting a strong connection to coastal life and craftsmanship. He aims to create pieces that convey strength, emotion, and history – without being bound to a single style or tradition.
Every project is an exploration of identity and expressive possibilities.
