We meet a teenager who has recently lost their father. The mother is off on a romantic trip to Paris with her new partner, and the teen is sent to stay with their grandfather for two weeks. Feeling lonely, abandoned, and disillusioned with life, the teen decides to stop caring about anything—because that way, disappointment and sadness hurt less.
