It once served as both a herring saltery and a barrel workshop, and you can still feel its history in the sturdy timber walls and rugged interior. The authentic style from the herring era has been preserved, even after a full renovation in 1997. Today, Haavebua is integrated with Quality Hotel Florø – while still retaining its historical soul.
