Here you can enjoy views of Vågen all year round, either through the large panoramic windows or - when the weather allows - from the lovely outdoor seating area.
The bar is owned and operated by the Foundation of the sailing ship Statsraad Lehmkuhl, and all profits go directly to the ship. A part of Lehmkuhl will always be in Bergen – even when the ship is out at sea. Much of the interior in the bar consists of original elements from the ship. At the far end of the venue you will find the Captain’s Lounge, a room furnished identically to the Captain’s Lounge on board, which can be closed off and used for meetings, for example.
At Statsraaden Bar the atmosphere is relaxed and spacious, quite literally. This is meant to be a place for everyone! On the same day, you might find both prime ministers and punk bands stopping by.
Over time, Statsraaden has become a sought-after concert venue, hosting several concerts every week with both local and international bands. In addition to concerts, you can also enjoy events such as the Sjøsprøyt Quiz every Tuesday and Ocean Science Bar with exciting lectures on the last Thursday of each month.
